Screenkut processes all photos and screenshots entirely on your device. We never upload, transmit, or store your images on any server. No account is required to use the app.
1 Introduction
Screenkut ("the App") is a screenshot beautification tool developed by Week Studio. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is used, and what rights you have.
By downloading or using Screenkut, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2 Data We Do Not Collect
Screenkut is built on a zero-collection principle. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to:
No third-party analytics SDK (e.g. Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude) is embedded in the App.
3 Photo Library Access
Screenkut requests access to your Photo Library solely to let you pick screenshots to edit. This access is governed by iOS's standard Photos permission prompt.
- Photos are loaded on-device and processed entirely in memory — they are never sent to any server.
- Exported or shared images leave the App only when you explicitly choose to share or save them.
- You can revoke photo access at any time via Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.
4 Local Data Storage
Your projects (screenshots, annotations, and settings) are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data:
Deleting the App removes all locally stored project data from your device.
5 Subscription & Purchases
Screenkut Pro is an optional paid subscription processed exclusively by Apple through the App Store. We never see or handle your payment information.
- Apple communicates only your subscription status (active / expired) to the App.
- No financial data or billing details are shared with Week Studio.
- To manage or cancel your subscription, go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone.
6 Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party. The App contains no advertising SDKs and does not participate in any ad-targeting network.
The only external service the App communicates with is Apple's StoreKit framework, solely to verify your subscription status. This communication is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
7 Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
Because Screenkut does not collect personal data, there is no personal data held by Week Studio for us to provide, correct, or delete on your behalf. You retain the following rights with respect to data stored on your own device:
